Pinterest is a great way to share and discover --quite literally-- a WORLD of products and services as well as information. It is a great platform for building your internet presence if you are anything like me and have been "hiding under a rock" when it comes to any sort of social media.
ACTUALLY, that's not exactly true. I have built up an internet presence on several platforms starting with EBAY back in 2009. From there, I joined MySpace....yeah....remember that dinosaur? Believe it or not, but I can STILL access my account. 😂
Along came this new hangout called Facebook, which in it's early years, was exclusive to only a handful of elites...I wasn't one of them obviously until some time later they decided to make it accessible to ALL. Yay.
From there, it just seemed to snowball and I was discovering different forms of "networking" until I was on my way to opening a shop on Etsy to begin my journey to selling online and because of Etsy, I managed to come across Pinterest, YouTube, and Blogger.
For a while, I decided to withdraw from the drug known as social media and detox myself from the internet. No such luck. I only replaced one obsession with another: my mobile phone.
Disclosure: I am an app junkie.
I honestly don't remember a time when my cell phone was not in my hands within the past three years. Ok, I am exaggerating a little...but, not far from the truth. It was then that I discovered "reward apps" that pay you for doing simple...and sometimes not so simple tasks. My favorite: MISTPLAY.

Since then, I have come to discover many options of generating income online; which is the main reason why I am now back on Pinterest and other social media.
