Passive Earning Through Data Apps

For the past few years, I have installed and uninstalled plenty of mobile apps in my journey to find the "best of the best" for whatever my individual needs are. My mobile apps range from online gaming to pretty much anything under the sun that is suggested by affiliate marketing "experts" and professional bloggers alike as well as the random apps I run across that catches my attention.

As you probably know by now in your own search of those golden egg laying geese, a lot of these apps will never allow you to quit your full time job since they are designed to draw money in for themselves by keeping the user engaged in the app for as long as possible.

However, there are a few apps that I have come across that are worth mentioning which takes minimal effort. As I stated earlier, they will not make you rich, but they also do not require you to do much more than simply open the app maybe once a day. It is up to you to decide if you would like to take it a step further and go into some of the more time-consuming tasks for that extra boost in earnings.

DATA APPS:

Mobile Performance Meter

This app is very minimalistic as far as engagement. As soon as you open the app, it will show you a very clean and simple interface which includes your current earning in "Meter Points". As of now, mine shows 1894 points, which is enough for me to cash in for a Virtual Visa Card for $10.00 (1000 Meter Points value); however, I plan on waiting for it to reach at least $25.00 (2500 Meter Points), unless I need a bit of cash right away.

Basically, you get 10 meter points every day without you even needing to interact with the app at all. The app rarely shuts off, but on those occasions when it does stop for some reason or other, you will get a notification that your meter has stopped running. All you need to do is open the app and you are back to earning your 10 points a day.

There is a referral program which will earn you 300 meter points, which is a HUGE boost! So far, I've had 2 referrals go through, which was a pleasant surprise to see. With those 2 referrals, I was able to cash out at least one time already. Presently, I am working on my second payout. I did mention that it would take time, so, again, don't expect to get rich.

The second page is the "Rewards" page which is where you can take part in surveys if you choose to do so. I personally have not taken part in the surveys since I am not a "survey" lover. But, I am sure they do work and pay out the allotted points that is offered.

The last page is the "History" which shows you all of your actions. Mine shows just daily meter points as well as the monthly ones. It goes as far back as the past 2 months of usage, so you can track your daily earnings.

The rewards program offers gift cards to many, MANY popular stores and restaurants as well as the Virtual Visa Card I mentioned. The only down side is that it does not offer a payment straight to your paypal.

Honeygain

Honeygain is another simple data collecting app that runs in the background. It is also very clean and minimalistic in it's interface and user engagement.

There are only two screens to toggle between: the Home screen which has a very simple interface that features animated beehive with cute little bees flying around it to indicate that the bees are gathering data and another screen labeled "more" which features your transaction history, settings, how it works, and help buttons as well as log out button.

You will want to check the settings every now and then when you don't see your honeygain app as being active on your notification page. When that happens, simply open the app and go to settings where you will need to make sure the "Share Internet" button is flipped back on.

There is an opportunity to "win" a few more points each day...almost like a "log in". The points through the "win" opportunity is random. I was lucky enough to open the win and earn 1000 points. Some days it will be 10 points, others will be 20 or 50.

There are no surveys available, but, this app can be installed on your laptop as well, which helps you to earn more and faster. I have not done the download, so, I can't give a review on how well that works or not. I am still working on my first payout which is likely to happen soon.
Again, it is a slow way to earn, but in all fairness, you literally do not do anything, so again, it is free money.

Lock Screen Rewards

S'More

S'more is another semi-passive earning app which rewards you for opening your lock screen. If you don't mind having ads on your lock screen, then you will be rewarded with 10 points per day when you interract with the S'More screen lock.

S'More does have other ways to earn as well, which includes watching videos, referring friends, downloading apps, playing games, and the good ol' offer wall.

Playing games through this app is really not worth the time or effort since the point value is very low co.lared to other apps such as Mistplay or even Giftloop.  Playing games through Current Music app is even better than S'More.

I usually just run the lock screen and not bother with anything else, but again, it is up to you if you prefer to put in the extra time for more points.

Current Music App

This is one I mention constantly in nearly every post only because I average $20 roughly every week or slightly over a week depending on how attentive I am and if I decide to take it a step further by doing a few surveys or not.

I LOVE music to begin with and can listen to it consistently through every waking minute, if possible. With so many choices for tailored internet radio stations, it would be impossible to NOT find a station that quickly becomes your constant "go-to". Mine just so happens to be "The Blast" which plays a LOT of Skillet and TFK (Thousand Foot Krutch", which are my favorite bands to date.
There are so many opportunities to boost your earnings if you are willing to dedicate some effort and time into the app.

It does have it's own lock screen which dominates any other lock screen you may have running, however, it does not interfere with your other lock screens earning potential. In other words, You can have this running along with S'More and other lock screen apps. You may run into issues if you have too many lock screens running, but so far, I had been able to run at least 3 with no problems.

Current pays you in rewards as well in numerous ways and from my personal experience, is the highest paying app that I have come across for minimal effort. The only thing you have to make sure of is that you restart your music app and go through the check in for restarting music streams every hour.

It is also a good idea to make sure to have your phone charging when not in use, because even if it reads 100% on battery life, you still earn points for having it connected to your charger. The cap is 420 charging points, which usually takes 8 hours. The awesome thing is that you can keep the music app running while you are doing other things in your phone (except when playing Warhammer:Chaos and Conquest...then the music app shuts off. It also stops when a call comes through, however, once the call ends, the music will start automatically.)

There are a couple of glitches in the app, but really not so inconvenient that it would affect your earning too much. Nor would it make me so upset that I would ever uninstall or give a bad review, because for one app, it really packs a lot of ways to earn fast in so many ways and is very trustworthy as far as being rewarded and paid.  I may sound a bit biased, but, it is because I've been using this app for over a year now and have earned a decent amount of money through it.

Conclusion

There are many apps to earn passive income through depending on how dedicated you are. We live in an age where there are far more opportunities to make money simply by doing what you love than to be forced into the traditional rat race of a "real world" job.

As with every job, there are benefits and down sides. It takes your personal effort and commitment to getting these apps to work for you. There are many ways to make "passive income" through your laptop, pc, tablet, or phone which include affiliate marketing, blogging, or selling online as well as many other avenues, the opportunities are unlimited and can be done altogether. The important thing to keep in mind is that it WILL NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT as a LOT of online influencers will claim in their videos.

Disclosure

I do not make any money off of these app reviews unless you use my referral codes or choose to check out any affiliate links through my posts. These are my honest reviews of what I have personally put time and effort into for my own benefit and I will not recommend anything that I have not personally tested thoroughly. I will not test an app just for a few hours or a couple of days and shoot out a quick review just to have something fresh to post. It would not be fair to you or the app developers to give a shoddy review.

Thank You

Merge Cats and Crypto Dragons Review

Click on image to view cryptosoul.io site

Lately, I've been testing out the many different ways one could make money through a variety of apps. One of those ways is through apps that allow you to earn crypto currency "passively".

I am still fairly new to the whole crypto currency community, so, I cannot honestly say whether it is a waste of time to pursue this area of mobile earning or not on my part. What works for some may not work for others.

That being said, I did come across a couple of legitimate crypto earning game apps which are entertaining and worth looking into.

The first one on my list is "Merge Cats" which also has a sister app called "Crypto Dragons". Both games are simple racetrack style games. Now, there is one more game put out by the same developers called "Royal Crypto", however, I haven't had the chance to really test it out yet, so, for now, I will only cover "Merge Cats" and "Crypto Dragons".

I've found that these 2 have mixed reviews on YouTube as well as in the Play store and those reviews are from earlier versions of the games. From the time I have been playing both crypto games, the developers have been busy putting out several updates to add new features, work out bugs, the usual changes.

One recent update was in their type of token. They switched from SOUL token to Lis. I'm not sure what impact that will have since I am still fairly new at trying out these crypto games, but, hopefully it is a legit token.

The main idea is to upgrade your cats or dragons and send them out to run around a racetrack to earn the LIS token which will be launched on Realis blockchain in the 4th quarter of 2021.

Recently, the developer added in a Bingo style game which is a bit more time consuming if you decide to not spend money on in-app purchases. You acquire NFT cards through opening capsules, but, you are not guaranteed that you will receive a Bingo card. More often, you will just get the regular items which you have to collect in order to upgrade the special cats that give you certain "boosts" on the racetrack. Even then, it takes a long time before you can actually upgrade your special cats...unless you spend money in-app.

The games also allow you to earn offline; however, be prepared to get multiple warnings throughout the better part of your day that your cats or dragons have stopped racing. But, no worries, because, as soon as you open the app, you see that you indeed do have offline earnings that you can collect and your little friends are still running their hearts out like a hamster on a cage wheel.

The best part about the games is that not only are the characters cute as heck, but you do get Lis when you open up Twitter, Telegram, or Discord...depending on the task for the day.

Lis can be transferred to the ETH wallet on cryptosoul.io website where you can combine the tokens from all three games they offer. It can also be transferred back into the games. The good thing is that you can choose how much Lis to put back in any of the 3 games.

As with other earning type games, it takes a long time to build up the tokens to be able to reach their threshold for an actual payout, so, I would highly suggest looking at the crypto earning as a type of "bonus" feature instead of concentrating on any of these games to pay out any sooner...unless, you put money into the games. But, who wants to do that? We are trying to make money; NOT SPEND money.

As a mobile game, it does run quite smoothly with no issues of lagging or freezing. I have not experienced any issues of concern at all. Not even any loss of Lis or points.

You may or may not get rich off of these apps; it just depends on what you are willing to invest. But, it is a fairly fun way to have your phone "work for you" passively without you having to dedicate so much time and effort into the games since, you DO "collect" offline.

Checking in every day, at least once, will help you gain Lis faster through their daily tasks of simply opening capsules, spinning the wheel, and merging your cute little animals.

If you are wanting to concentrate on their "tournament" rankings, I've found that it is best to have your board full of high level characters before you exit the game.

The way I do it is to first switch my main "bonus" cat to the one that gives you a "discount" on the cats or dragons you are going to purchase from the store using the game tokens ONLY. Don't use Lis to buy any higher upgraded characters...that would be defeating the purpose.

From there, choose your purchases, but keep an eye on your total tokens, because you do spend them faster than you think. Pay special attention to the amount for the levels, because sometimes, you may wind up purchasing too many of the level 1 character that it winds up being more expensive on future purchases than a level 3 or 5 for instance; in which case, you would do a face palm and realize that the level 5 for 10b was cheaper than the level 1 that you ran up to 200b.

There is also a 60 sec window in which to make your purchases for the discounted price, so, plan your choices before you switch the bonus cat.

Another cool feature of the "Merge Cats" or "Crypto Dragons" games is the referral program which can be accessed through the main menu of your profile.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor or an investment manager of any type. I am still looking into both of these games as well as a few more so that I can give you my honest opinion from whatever information I have gathered thus far.

To see actual gameplay, check it out here: Merge Dragons YouTube Short

If you do decide to try either one of these games out for yourself, please show me some love by using my referral link in either one of these images:

Check them out for yourself and leave me a comment on your thoughts about "Merge Cats" or "Crypto Dragons". Let me know if you have found better mobile crypto games that have better results.

MY FAVORITE MONEY MAKING APPS

This summer, in between spending countless hours teaming up with guild members in SWTOR, I have been working hard on researching these money making apps. I recently found out about such things as "affiliate marketing" and "passive income" over the winter and decided to check it out to see what it was all about. I had already decided to commit to working remotely and have tried to find my special "niche" so to speak. Easier said than done in my case. I was told that I keep getting in my own way and that is why I have not been able to start any real job online.

Like I stated in a previous post, I have been using a few apps for making money for a while and have gotten a few decent payouts; not enough to get rich off of or quit my "day job" of gaming online with my friends, but, I have actually been able to get to the point where I now feel confident enough to maintain an online banking account for not only myself, but for my boys as well. I also felt comfortable enough to begin investing online through Acorns. I've invested a lot of time in these apps to ensure that they are legit and worth passing on to you. As with everything that involves money, you do have to put in a fair amount of work when you start off, but, eventually, things will fall in place.

To get started in investing in Acorns today, click here.

The first one on my list is one I have talked about before known as Current Music App. I love this app due to the fact that after I put in my selection of groups I love to listen to, a list is curated based on my choices. I can save my online radio stations and the music starts automatically when I go into the app. The app is time based and pays you for the amount of time you listen. Obviously, the longer you listen, the higher your boost goes. I usually run my music all day and sometimes in the middle of the night, but, then again, I love music, so, it doesn't bother me. The other benefit is that it pays you for charging your phone. They have other incentives as well such as a referrals program which rewards you whenever your referrals use the app.

The cons of using the Current Music App is that your timer only counts for an hour, then you have to go through the "check in" process to begin again. The "check in" seems a bit glitchy, but eventually, you do get the timer active again. I've read that some users have experienced their phones running hot a few times while others have not. The other glitch I have experienced is the loss of the "Games" option, however, that could be due to my settings on my phone dealing with "permissions". Payouts can go to your Paypal and usually takes a few days.

Second on my list of favorite apps is CoinOut. It is very straightforward. You open the app, snap pics of your receipts and that's it. You can earn badges to boost your earning potential. I recently took part in one of the badge opportunities and got an extra $15 added to my CoinOut balance as a bonus simply for signing up for a bank account I was already considering. I have to admit, it was a very pleasant surprise. They do pay out through your Paypal, and payment is fairly quick within a couple of days.

The only down side is that you get pennies for every receipt. sometimes you get lucky and get about $.14-$.34 on a couple of random receipts, but for the most part, you can expect around $.01-$.03 on average. While it doesn't seem like much at first, think of it as the traditional piggy bank full of spare pennies you throw in. When you break it open, you find you've saved a total of maybe $50.00 in pennies that you otherwise would not have had. I've gotten a few decent payouts based on how much I wanted to save before I cashed out. Another benefit is the offer wall which rewards you with badges that might add more receipt scans every week or credit you cash rewards straight to your balance.

Click here to quickly get started on CoinOut.

Third on my list includes those familiar gaming apps such as Mistplay and Tapchamps amongst others. They are all time based and you can literally leave a game running without really interacting too much if you so choose, however, you do have to tap on the screen every now and then to make sure the phone doesn't go to sleep, otherwise, your time will not count. These time based apps take dedication in the form of...well, basically investing time. You eventually wind up playing the games just to pass the time, which is fine if you are playing a game you really enjoy, but can take an eternity on those you downloaded just for quick point bonuses. If you choose to use the mobile gaming platforms, I suggest utilizing at least 3 top rated platforms to build up for 3 separate payouts.

The cons to playing through the mobile gaming platforms is that it does take time, storage, and battery life away from your phone. The majority of my storage space is dedicated to just gaming apps I've downloaded for the gaming rewards platforms. I now have 2 battery packs to keep my phone charged when I am out and about. Will I stop playing on those draining mobile platforms? Probably not so long as I am getting paid.

For Mistplay, click here

Last on my list and most recent is BigToken. This has quickly become one of my favorite apps for generating a weekly payout. At the time of writing this post, I have been using the app for about 3 weeks now and am on my third weekly payout. It is a survey app that is strictly related to you and your interests or habits, so the questions are easy to answer. You do not have to worry about spending a ridiculous amount of time on a survey just to find out that you do not qualify, which is very frustrating when it happens constantly. There is a daily check-in along with location check ins which reward you with decent points. The app also has a referral program which rewards you with every action your referral makes in the app. I recently found out about "teams" which gives you even better points for answering the team question. What is really great about this app is that you know exactly where you stand with points, because it actually reflects the amount of money you are accumulating. For example, 348.25 points is equal to $3.48 in cash. You can also see how much you are making off of referrals completing their actions in the app.
